Allan started his career in financial services at Merrill Lynch in 2015 as a financial advisor where he developed and managed stock and options strategies. His desire to work more directly with individuals transitioned him to start his own financial planning practice, which led him to managing 403(b) and 457 Plans throughout the State of Michigan. Allan holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Michigan State University, as well as his Series 7, Series 66, and life and health insurance license.
Allan understands the triumphs and challenges educators face daily as his wife, Kaitlyn, is a teacher in the Troy School District. He and his wife have three children, Emma, Joey, and J.J. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling to northern Michigan with his family, as well as golfing and catching the occasional Detroit sports game. He is a trustee of the Troy Foundation for Educational Excellence.
